The builder behind this San Diego coastal villa project had previously worked mainly with uPVC door systems. Choosing aluminum bi-fold doors was a new approach that required higher expectations for design, manufacturing precision and installation quality.
The project required two large bi-fold door systems, each approximately 7 meters in length. To achieve a clean architectural appearance and ensure stable operation, AMJ produced the frames with full-length aluminum profiles without cutting and joining sections. This required strict control of processing accuracy, dimensional tolerance and production quality.
AMJ worked closely with the project team throughout the process, from technical confirmation and production to installation support.
