In December 2025, AMJ’s 15,000-square-meter factory in Sanshui, Foshan, completed an upgrade of its core equipment. The company procured and commissioned two AI-powered intelligent sawing centers, specifically designed for the cutting and processing of aluminum alloy door and window profiles, thereby completely replacing traditional manual sawing processes.
The new equipment is equipped with an industrial-grade AI CNC system, compatible with 6063-T5 aluminum alloy profiles, and covers the processing needs for a full range of products, including system windows and sliding doors. It has completed commissioning and has officially entered mass production.
II. Core Equipment Parameters and Functions
1. Automatic Loading System
The equipment features a built-in hydraulic automatic loading rack capable of stacking 12 six-meter-long aluminum profiles at once. It automatically picks up and feeds the profiles, eliminating the need for manual handling throughout the process. The loading time for a single profile is ≤8 seconds, completely freeing up labor.
2. AI-Powered Cutting
Integrated with the factory’s ERP system, the machine directly reads order drawings, and AI automatically generates cutting paths without manual parameter input. Cutting accuracy is maintained within ±0.1 mm, far exceeding the industry standard of ±0.5 mm, thereby eliminating issues such as poor window and door sealing and hardware jamming caused by cutting errors.
3. Processing Efficiency
A single machine can process up to 3,200 meters of profiles per day. With two machines operating in parallel, profile cutting efficiency is increased by 200% compared to traditional manual sawing. The cutting cycle for a single batch of 5,000 m² project orders is reduced from 7 days to 3 days.
4. Integrated Features
The system includes built-in profile positioning, automatic angle calibration, and automatic scrap sorting and recycling functions. Raw material utilization has increased from 85% to 92%, resulting in a 3–5% reduction in raw material costs per order batch.
The equipment has been installed in the factory’s standardized production workshop, seamlessly integrating with existing CNC machining, assembly, and quality control processes. Cutting data is synchronized in real time with the ERP system, ensuring traceability of cutting parameters for each profile and full control over the entire quality control process.III. Practical Benefits of the Upgrade
• Delivery cycles shortened by an additional 15%: Efficiency in the profile cutting process has doubled, reducing the delivery cycle for standard orders from 25 days to 20 days. Engineering orders from North America and Australia are no longer delayed due to bottlenecks in the manufacturing process;
• More stable product quality: AI-powered CNC cutting with ±0.1mm precision ensures that the profile joints and sealing performance of every door and window unit meet standards 100% of the time, and the first-pass rate for NFRC certification testing has increased to 98%;
• Enhanced capacity for bulk orders: With two machines operating in parallel, we can simultaneously handle two or more project orders exceeding 5,000 square meters, meeting the high-volume demands of the North American and Australian markets;
• More significant cost advantages: Automated operations reduce labor costs, while scrap recycling minimizes raw material waste, enabling us to offer B2B clients more competitive bulk pricing.
The introduction of this AI-powered sawing center marks a pivotal step in AMJ’s efforts to build a smart factory. Moving forward, we will gradually upgrade other processing stages to ensure more efficient production and more consistent quality, thereby providing our global B2B partners with a more reliable supply chain.
