Project Details
This project is a modern residential home designed with a clean facade, bright interior spaces and a consistent black window frame finish. The glazing package combines several window types so each area of the house can match its own lighting, ventilation and visual requirements.
The overall visual effect is simple and refined. From the exterior, the dark window frames give the house a sharper architectural outline. Inside, the same window language works with the light wall finishes, stone surfaces and open-plan layout to create a clean and contemporary atmosphere.
Large glazed openings help bring natural light deeper into the living areas, while the bedroom and bathroom spaces use more practical operable windows for daily comfort. The result is not only functional, but also visually balanced, with each room feeling bright, open and neatly framed.
The kitchen area also benefits from a fixed horizontal glazing section, which improves daylight and adds a cleaner visual line above the working surface. Together, these window systems help shape a home that feels modern, comfortable and well proportioned.
Project Customization
This residence does not use one single window type throughout the house. Different spaces required different opening methods, including sliding windows, crank-out casement windows, crank-out awning windows and fixed glazing.
Sliding windows were suitable for wider openings where space-saving operation was preferred. Crank-out casement windows were used where larger operable areas and stronger airflow were important, while crank-out awning windows were appropriate for compact openings and practical ventilation. Fixed glazing was used in the kitchen to increase light without adding unnecessary operable sections.
Frame dimensions, window proportions, opening methods and glass areas were coordinated according to each room. Keeping one consistent black aluminum finish across the different systems helped the whole project maintain a unified appearance.
